The Greater Hartford Green Team unites residents from Hartford and surrounding suburbs to make Hartford a more beautiful and vibrant city. Every month 25 – 50 volunteers gather on a Saturday morning at a city park or in one of the city’s neighborhoods to spruce up the site and plant shrubs, trees and flowers. In the course of working together, volunteers are acquainted with one another and build bridges of understanding and respect. Through good work, delicious food, and live music, Green Team events promote a regional spirit and vision for the Capital Region.
In 2017, the Greater Hartford Green Team will meet the third Saturday of each month from March through October from 9 am to 1 pm.
