Starting Garden Seeds

In a hands-on demonstration and discussion, learn the biological way to start your garden seeds with Kris McCue of the Hartford Area Chapter of the Bionutrient Food Association. Growing high quality food is the goal, and it all starts with one tiny miraculous package – a seed!  Learn about: bio-mimicry which is copying nature’s way for greater success; potting containers and soil; seeds as newborns; your newborn seedlings’ micro biome; microbial seed inoculants; amending your seed starting soil with mineral nutrients and biology.  The mineral and biological amendments that are discussed will be available to purchase at the program for a very small fee that covers only the cost of materials.  Kris will also bring packages of seeds to share from her biological demonstration garden at the George Hall Farm in Simsbury.

Event will be held inside KNOX’s Greenhouse.
